forgetful

So, this past winter I attempted to post a photo a day…and failed miserably.  I gave up .  It was far too time consuming and with very little time to take photos, I was struggling to find something to post everyday.

But I feel a renewed sense of excitement this fall.  I’m home and hanging out with Jaia everyday which provides me with ample opportunity to take pictures of her and document us and our day-to-day.  I’m also enrolled in a photography course for the fall (YAY!!) and I suppose I’ll be asked to be snapping loads of pics for that every week.

So it got me thinking about the daily photo posts.  I miss posting every day.  I know there are at least a few who’ve asked for more frequent updates and so I think I’ll oblige.  Starting today, but with no pressure on myself for the days that inspiration doesn’t strike, I will attempt a post every day.

I hope that those of you who still actually read the blog, enjoy the increased activity.  For those of you who’ve moved on, I totally understand.  I would too with close to one post per month.

So here it is.  The inaugural photo.  It was taken at Dan’s dad’s house the day after Duncan and Stephanie’s wedding.  The sun was shining and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky.  A far cry from the previous day when we were all wrapped in wool blankets to try to keep warm.
