neat stuff

satellite radio has launched in canada. I’m having a hard time with the concept of paying $15 a month to listen to something that has thus far been free. It may be because my radio rarely changes off of AM talk radio. I assume there would be *more* talk radio choices, but CFRA is currently free. If you’re into music, especially music that isn’t available on free radio, then it’s probably a good value. I’ll reserve final judgement until I get to play with one.
– our experiment with online-by-mail movie rentals has come to an end. For $25 a month, we were getting 7-8 movies a month max, which works out to a pretty low per-movie charge. However, we rarely got the movies we wanted, especially new releases. So Rogers will start taking even more of our disposable income (phone, internet, cable, game and movie rentals … they’ll soon be performing our automotive maintenance).
– I too am addicted to hexic. It came preloaded on the xbox 360, and I’ve played it far more than anything else. For a brief time, I had the 11th highest score in the world! Then more people started playing … :.

Kristin. - We have had satellite radio for a year now and think it’s great. Don’t know about the Canadian channel line-up though (ours is American)….

now with more vitamin k!

welcome to the new and improved forgetful.ca. we’ve migrated over to blogging software, which should make it way easier to keep it up to date! it’s been in the works for a few months, but it was pretty simple. if anyone is looking for new and creative ways to procrastinate, let me know.

without really trying to be, shannen and i are 95% done christmas shopping. It kinda snuck up on us. we don’t even have to ship anything this year – all gifts are being delivered in person.

dan’s been busy on ebay recently, exploiting product shortages and discontinuances for his own personal gain. “but what about the children” you say? i aim to profit off them and their desperate materialistic parents! muhahah. our guest room is currently acting as a warehouse for mario mix: dance dance revolution games, 14 so far 🙂 Check out our ebay listings here.

shannen’s work has calmed down, and she’s enjoying her weekends again. hexic is consuming most of her time.

i’m off to update the rest of the content pages. email us at the link to the right and let us know what you think of the new site!

later,

dan
