Without a doubt.
Thanks to Sarah for the super cute onesie. It’s perfect.
Shannen and I have been trying to take Jaia out every so often for a “date”, some one-on-one time without Wes to catch up with one or the other parent. Tonight was Daddy-Jaia Date Night, and we went for sushi! Her favourites? Chicken udon soup, and flying fish roe sushi. She couldn’t get enough of the little salty eggs. Just like daddy.

looks pretty tasty – she enjoyed it for sure … 🙂 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The boy teased us last night. Wes slept for 8 hours in a row. Without a peep. 8 HOURS! Dan and I were shocked. Maybe it was all the sleep that confused our brains… But when he did wake up at 4 am, it was followed by a terrible coughing fit for the next 45 minutes. Poor little dude. Thankfully for all of us, he fell back to sleep soon after and was happy as can be when he woke up for the day. I know that Wes won’t always wake up at all hours. Eventually, and maybe even soon, he won’t need me in the middle of the night anymore. And although I welcome the sleep/the disappearance of the zombie eyes I’ve been sporting for the past 6 months that comes with that, I know I’ll miss those quiet moments that are just ours. Don’t grow up too fast, Wesley. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I don’t know if it’s going on everywhere, but this MOvember thing has really taken off here in Ottawa. Men, who would most likely look fairly respectable every other month of the year, look like total creeps right now. Especially the ones who are having a bit more trouble than others actually growing the mo’. Yup, it’s ‘staches, ‘staches everywhere. Even in our house. Dan has been a trooper. I imagine keeping and taking care of his new facial hair is not all that pleasant, but he hasn’t complained. Jaia, on the other hand, complains often. And she’s right. It is is scratchy. But whether it is scratchy, creepy or uncomfortable, growing the mo’ is worth it. Male cancers have affected both Dan’s family and mine and we would do anything to raise money to help find a cure. And you can too. Please think about making a donation of any size. Let’s kick cancer’s ass.
