I don’t know if it’s going on everywhere, but this MOvember thing has really taken off here in Ottawa. Men, who would most likely look fairly respectable every other month of the year, look like total creeps right now. Especially the ones who are having a bit more trouble than others actually growing the mo’. Yup, it’s ‘staches, ‘staches everywhere. Even in our house.
Dan has been a trooper. I imagine keeping and taking care of his new facial hair is not all that pleasant, but he hasn’t complained. Jaia, on the other hand, complains often. And she’s right. It is is scratchy.
But whether it is scratchy, creepy or uncomfortable, growing the mo’ is worth it. Male cancers have affected both Dan’s family and mine and we would do anything to raise money to help find a cure. And you can too. Please think about making a donation of any size.
