This was Wes’ first time in a swing. We stopped in a tiny park on the way home from school and took advantage of the sunlight and the warm air.
And from his smiles and shrieks of delight, I’m pretty sure he thought it was awesome. It was perhaps the exhilaration of flying through the air, or, the more likely scenario is that he was just thrilled to be doing exactly what his big sister was doing. He loves her most. By far.

I never got a peek at the backyard when we were there…it looks like you’ve got a pretty amazing BBQ spot. You guys are going to have such an awesome summer in the new digs. This kid loves to eat. LOVES to eat. And the messier the better.

… and LOUD! He makes a sound while eating that is a cross between an airplane and an angry brown bear. We will post a video.

That’s so cute! Eva hums while she eats too, the more she likes something the louder the humming. She’s been doing it since she was a baby and we always wondered if it would subside. Not a chance (she’ll be 30 and still humming!). It’s awesome 🙂 An attempt at a self-portrait. The technique could use some work, but at least the subjects are adorable. 😉
