Have you noticed the new header? I had originally taken the photo for a post, but when I saw how well it turned out, I decided to use it up there. At this moment in time, this is a perfect representation of our lives. Well, except that there was no artistic way to also include the chauffeuring around, the work, the photography business, the playdates, the sibling squabbling, the cleaning, the cooking, the dressing for play in the winter……I could go on.
You get it. You are busy too. And we really, really just have to survive those days. Get through to the end so the parents can give each other that look that says, “We made it”. And if we do, we are rewarded with moments like this:

Scene: A quiet, sunny afternoon.
The kids had been so good that they were given a little treat to share. They chose to sit together and did so without even one fight or power struggle. They just simply shared and enjoyed each other.
It was dreamy.
