Not wanting to be left out, Humphrey takes his turn as investigator.

… for investment purposes, I would pour everything I own into “The Prayer” by Bloc Party. It’s on their new album coming out Feb. 5th. In the absence of an exchange for song futures, you all owe me $5 when it is a hit.

Agreed, though I prefer Hunting for Witches. bless you, God-less music pirates, who allow us all to grow tired of albums before they even get released. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Caught checking out the new roomie…

Roxy never had a tail. She’s unique…or at least, that’s what I tell her. 😉

And in response to Jen: Rox has been trying to bulk up lately – a lot of protein shakes and power bars. We’re thinking of building a little ring in the basement for her and Humph to duke it out. All her training shouldn’t go to waste. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() … have been resolved. Kinda. I now know that the problem was our server was full. Not over our limit, but full. So our host didn’t fix the problem. Instead, I just deleted some things. But that’s what WordPress Error 28 is, if it ever comes up in a game of Trivial Pursuit. Incidentally, our web host is Canaca.com. They’re OK, usually resolve issues relatively quickly. However, they’ve tempted me to send more business their way. When I was on their site complaining about forgetful.ca yesterday, I noticed that they offer something called “naked dsl”, or dsl internet without having to have traditional home phone service. This is what I’ve been looking for for years! There are internet providers out there that are cheaper than Rogers or Bell, but I always thought you needed home phone service to have dsl. But it turns out that Bell was forced to allow people to resell over their lines back in 2005. So, assuming all goes well, our internet service is going down to $26.95 a month. Rogers has been charging us $47. Sweet.

Click on “Naked DSL” in the post … it’ll take you straight to Acanac’s (Canaca backwards, witty eh?) page. Happy hunting! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
