forgetful

I always bite off more than I can chew.  I like a good project to keep me busy and inspired, but it rarely stops there.  And then, before I know it, I’m overwhelmed.  And missing that feeling that having spare time brings.

We officially moved into our new house on December 17.  Four days later we left for Virginia for Christmas.  We arrived home on December 28th and by the 3rd of January, we were back on the road, on our way out to BC for some skiing/snowboarding/family time with little to no internet access.

The trips have been beyond lovely, but have left very little time to actually settle in to the new place.

We’re getting there, but it hasn’t been easy.  And some of my favourite things have suffered.  One of them has been picture taking and posting.  And the timing for that has been ridiculously bad.  So much has happened over the last month and I’ve wanted to share, and I just couldn’t.  No time, no energy, no internet.

I don’t know when I’ll be able to sit down and properly catch up, but it is definitely at the top of my to-do list.
