Last night, the doctors from Nip/Tuck began their fourth season off with a bang. Ahem. Not that it’s surprising, but I’m already hooked. CTV is airing the show over three months after it finished on the FX network, so if I really wanted to, I could snoop to see where the story lines are headed. It’s tempting. Very tempting. I may have already peeked. A little. As you know, I watched Season 3 on DVD. This meant no commercials, and best of all, no waiting. If I wanted to know what happens next, I could find out, with the touch of a button. This time around, having to wait a full week AND through commercials is nothing less than torture. It’s Monday morning and I’m already thinking ahead to next Sunday night. Job well done, Guys. That’s what good tv is all about.

don’t be absurd. they’re measuring consumption in bottles, not alcohol content. any jackass in a leafs jersey can drink 12 canadians. it takes a real man to drink four 75 cL bottles of 9% Chimay.

I, for one, totally did my part for the country in 2004. One party alone facilitated the consumption of 326 bottles of beer (bottles, alone, cans is a whole other story…). They should really give me the Order of Canada or something. You know, honouring those who bring people and beer together.

I haven’t kept a log of my beer consumption in 2004 but from a quick calculation, I can confidently say that I was an above average Canadian beer consumer. How does anybody get anything done in the Czech Republic? Seriously, they consume 3 times as much as we do. That’s good work. |
