March Break: Day One.

I don’t remember BIG plans during March break when I was in school.  I don’t really remember friends taking holidays with their families or day camps.  It was just a week off and that meant NO SCHOOL.

Times have changed.  Now you not only have a week off school, but a full, busy, scheduled week.  Or so it seems for other families.  Ha.  We have no plans.

We hope to have a few playdates, but otherwise, the week is our oyster.  That doesn’t really work, does it?

That doesn’t mean though that we won’t have an awesome week together.   Quite the contrary.  We are going to have a fly-by-the-seat-of-our-pants kind of week.

With backpacks filled with snacks, we decided to hop on a city bus and head downtown for lunch.  It wasn’t fancy, no more than a quick stop at Subway, but with a visit to friends, our day was action packed and quite out of the norm for us.  And I love me a good adventure.

After our arrival home and a short nap (sadly, only for Wes), we filled up spray bottles with coloured water and did some snow painting.  I mean, really, if you are still going to have THIS MUCH SNOW, you might as well make it look pretty.

Tomorrow?  Still deciding.  What do you have planned for your day?
