Today was awesome. Having a little boy who loves super heroes, fire trucks, pirates and all things boy was made so much more awesome when we walked into our local fire station to look around. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, but never took the opportunity.
Having a friend who is a fire fighter helps, but it turns out that anyone is welcome to visit. It was our first time, but it won’t be our last.
Wes was on cloud 9. He wanted to climb up into each truck and probably could have played there for hours. I have to admit that I was pretty impressed as well. I didn’t climb up into the driver’s seat, but totally would have if someone would have suggested it.
