Did you notice the little change in the look of forgetful.ca?  I think we needed a little freshen up for 2013.  It’s cleaner, brighter and a little snazzier.  Thoughts?

My favourite part, and this was completely unintentional, is the archives function at the very bottom.  A few times this week already, I was trying to find something to show a co-worker, and so I’d guesstimate on the month, pull up the results and voila! All the posts from that month just a click away.  The old format did this just fine, but would only list titles of old posts so I’d actually have click on each one to find what I was looking for.  This one shows me all the pictures!

Go look.  I’ll wait.

Back?

So, anyways,  I’ll go in there hunting for something, and then I’ll stick around clicking open some of the posts to get a better look at the pictures.

In doing so, I’ve found some of my favourite posts that I had lost track of.  Like this one, this one and especially this one.

And then there have been a few months where I’ve only posted once or twice and I was almost sad to see there were so few.

Life is BUSY.  SO BUSY.  But I really need to make time to post.  I will look back a regret these little blog breaks.  Like the one I’m ending now.  I think I posted twice last month.  Next year, I’ll wish I had taken the time.   I mean, can you imagine if I hadn’t shared this little jem:

Side Note:  Reading the comments from years ago had me in stitches more than the actual posts.  You guys are funny.  I miss you.

Melissa - Kaleb would be in heaven too! He saw one just the other day, but there was no sitting or climbing. I can’t say I would feel comfortable knocking on the door of the fire station haha.
