Picture This: Joy

I did not take pictures today.  Easter Sunday.  One of the most fun mornings of the year.  When kids are hopped up on sugar and adults are secretly hopped up on sugar after pilfing their favourites from their kids’ Easter baskets (oh, is that just me?), and I did not take one picture.

The reason is simple. I’ve been in mourning for the past few weeks.  I carelessly left my camera out, on the tripod, unattended, and it was knocked over by one of the shorter members of our family.  My go-to lens, which cost me an arm and a leg a few years ago, smashed on the ground.  It is currently being repaired by the good yet far from cheap folks at Nikon and I am eagerly awaiting its return.

I have other lenses, yes, but I still feel sad about this one being gone.  And the $400 to fix it.  Barf.

So, instead of posting adorable photos from this morning as my little bunnies tiptoed around the house hunting their chocolate goodies, I am posting older, yet still adorable photos of my little bunnies laughing their heads off while we ran around the Wakefield covered bridge on a frosty Saturday afternoon.
