Five separate (or connected, not that it matters) illnesses for the bean since December.
We went to our second rescheduled appointment yesterday for Jaia to get her 12 month shots and the doctor opted to wait again because the ear infection so not only not gone, but worse. Thankfully, he gave us a prescription this time that should clear it up in a few days.
Jaia has been such a trooper through all of this. Other than the obvious (throwing up, coughing, stuffy nose), she hasn’t let on that she’s been under the weather at all. I’ve heard horror stories of how an ear infection can lead to a CRANKY baby (understandably), but I seriously had no idea anything was still wrong….Though there were the awful sleeps she’s been having. I guess that should have tipped me off – but I just chalked it up to a new stage of growth. Bad mama.
I’ll just be glad when she’s all healed up and life can return to normal. I miss normal.
