Crafty McCrafterson

A stroll through Staples the other day gave me a fantastic idea.  I happened upon magnet paper.  Did you know magnet paper existed?  Not many people do.  I first used it when Dan and I were planning our wedding 6 (!) years ago.  I made ‘save the date’ type magnets and sent them out to all who might come.  Some of you still have those magnets on your fridges.  I’ve seen them and I think it’s pretty cute.

Anyway, back to a few weeks ago.  I saw the paper again and thought it would be cute to make monster magnets for the loot bags at Wes’ birthday party.  Brilliant.  Cute, easy and original.  I loved them.  (An enormous birthday post is in the works, by the way!)

But now I had a few extra sheets of paper and no more magnets to make.  Or…

I had an idea.  Why not print photos of the kids on the paper?  That way I’d have new photos for the fridge and I wouldn’t need magnets to hold them up.  And maybe, just maybe, I could cut down on the immense amount of clutter that always finds it’s way onto the fridge.  Easy peasy.  And awesome.

Serious magnet love.
