Each time I start one of these posts I think I’m going to run out of things to list and each week I’m surprised at how much I have to look forward to in the coming days. This week is no exception.
1. NO PLANS – This weekend is much the opposite of the past few…we are completely sans plans. No dinners, no dates, no meet-ups, nothing to shop for, nothing to prep for. Nothing. And it feels great. Sometimes the best days/nights are the ones you didn’t see coming.
2. COUNTDOWNS – In the coming months we have a lot to look forward to: Frank the Baby will make his debut, my mom is coming to stay with us, maternity leave, Dan’s month off, trips and loads of family time. After a loooong, cold, boring winter, having so much to gladly count down to is refreshing. And exciting.
3. APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS – Enough said.
4. MOVIE NIGHT- I admit that halfway through it never feels like the week is flying by, but before I can blink it’s already Friday. And Fridays in our house bring movie nights! It’s been a long standing tradition and one we all look forward to. What’s better than jammies, a bowl of popcorn and a good flick watched all together? Jaia has already requested Cinderella. I’m hoping to watch something she hasn’t seen 6000 times already, but ultimately, she’s in charge of the selection.
