For no other reason that because we could, Jaia and I hopped on a bus this morning and headed downtown. I have seen and been on more buses than I could ever count over the years, but Jaia had yet to step on one. She was giddy with delight at the mere suggestion. And more so once the bus was rolling.
She spent most of the ride checking out all the passengers, and much to my embarrassment, commented on a few. Loudly.
” Mama, that lady looks like a fox.”
“Mama, that lady has funny hair.”
“What is that man eating?”
It was awesome. I can’t wait to do it again.
