I’m not one to shy away from an recognizing a special anniversary. More reason to celebrate? Sign me up. This year mark the TENTH annual Girl’s Weekend. And for the occasion, I couldn’t help but dig into the archives for a photo or two. (Another found here.)
Our first weekend away took us all to the Toronto area to stay with Coline. This weekend pre-dates most of our children, some of our marriages (in fact, Mr. Forgetful and I had just met) and also, digital cameras, hence the tiny photo. For me, it also pre-dated any kind of sense of shoe style. Wow. Are those white socks?
It was the most attended weekend, and maybe the most fun one because it felt like a giant sleepover. But every single one since then has brought different faces, different places and much needed time to unwind get reacquainted and to catch up on all the haps.
I’m in countdown mode. Is it Friday yet?
