shannen -Is it bad that I’m tempted to try it? And is it that much worse than the MacDonald’s breakfast sandwich that uses pancakes as bread? Ummm, probably.
In a time where people should be trying to eat healthier and take better care of themselves – why is it all these fast food restaurants keep increasing the fat in their new menu items? Or the size? On our trip down to Virginia, we broke down and decided to eat at Burger King. The cheeseburger options included the single, double, triple and the 4 patty! Who needs 4 patties on one burger…with a slice of cheese between each?
For the recored, I got the single. With fries.

dan -Lies! You totally got the double cheeseburger.
I too am tempted to try it just once. You could totally make these at home … I think I’d use a blueberry fritter …
1000 calories, 45 grams of fat.
for comparison…
big mac: 530 calories, 29 grams of fat
though, if you look at the nutrition info at bk.com, you find these beauties…
bk quad stacker: 1000 calories, 68 grams of fat
triple whopper w/ cheese: 1230 calories, 82 grams of fat (only available in U.S.)
enormous omelette sandwich: 730 calories, 45 grams of fat (for breakfast!)
amazing.

dan -Those are some impressive sandwiches (especially the breakfast item. That wouldn’t put you to sleep at all!), but I found an even more preposterous entry.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you your winner, and champeen of the world, the Hardee’s 2/3 Lb Monster Thickburger! 1410 calories and 107 grams of fat!
Those make Gary’s clover-shaped cabin fatburgers look like sprout sandwiches.
