For Jaia, Halloween lasts three days long and we are in mad costume prep to get ready. It begins with some trick or treating at the mall with her little friends before the kindergarten parade. I know, serious cuteness.
Jaia’s uncle Sean and Auntie Vinnie are having a Halloween party on Saturday and we’ll dress the kiddos up again (and ourselves) for that one.
And finally, the real day on Sunday.
This year, we decided to forego the pre-made costume and make our own, like we used to do as kids. Jaia and I came up with the idea months ago and she has never wavered.
Here are a couple of hints:
It’s cute, but not too cutesy. It’s straight out of the pages of a children’s book.
Any guesses?
Auntie Jenny - The Princess Frog!!
Sarah - The Paper Bag Princess!
Auntie Kris - I second Paper Bag Princess! I can’t wait to see pics…
Dan - A strange golden pokey-beaked bird!
Auntie Jenny - Wait…. is there even a Princess Frog fairytale? I think I’m mixing two of them up…its been awhile! 🙂
