We had Jaia’s birthday party on Tuesday. The very Tuesday that brought yet another mountain of snow in Ottawa. Thankfully, quite a few troopers made the trek (mostly from Orleans) to watch the bean blow out her candle and dive into cake for the first time.
Our friends Simon and Sylvie acted as the resident photographers and were able to catch all the important moments for us. Huge thanks to both of them. I would not have been able to do the day justice on my own.

Jaia had a ball at her party. I think she’s expecting that unwrapping presents is a weekly event though. Too bad her next opportunity is ~340 days away 🙂
