Or so I thought. But it finally happened! Jaia slept through the night for the first time. She hit the hay at 10pm and didn’t wake up until 6:30 this morning.
Funny thing is that my body seems to be rejecting all the sleep. I’ve felt sluggish all day, but it might be that I got too much rest. I haven’t slept for that many hours in a row since I was six months pregnant or so. But I’m not complaining. I’m very excited to be reacquainted with hours and hours of happy dream-filled shut-eye.
I hope last night is a sign of what’s to come.
