Last weekend when Dan’s parents were in town, we took an afternoon trip to the Arboretum. It was beautiful. The sun was shining. And as we approached the water, we saw that weren’t the only ones taking full advantage.

This new little family was sunning themselves at the water’s edge. The mama calmly watched us, but let Jaia get a closer look of her babies.

Until she got tired of me and my picture snapping…and booked it outta there.

And her beautiful little babies weren’t far behind, much to Jaia’s (and my) chagrin.
So. Damn. Cute.
