…and they are especially nice when we get to share them with family. This time we had Dan’s aunt and cousin in town from Saskatchewan. We had oodles of plans and the weather did not play along.
But we made due. We did lots of touring – including an attempt to go to the Museum of Civilization…with thousands of our closest friends. Apparently that’s where EVERYONE goes during a downpour on a long weekend. There were no parking spots (should have been our first clue) and we were told that the line to get a ticket would take atleast 45 minutes! We decided against waiting. Civilization would have to wait until next time.
It was no surprise to me, but Jaia fell deeply in love with her cousin. They were pretty well inseparable for the enitre visit. Karlee was so patient with the energetic and imaginative 2-year old. I see some serious babysitting cash in Karlee’s future. I only wish we lived closer….
Shirley and Karlee also seemed happy to oblige when I asked if I could truck them downtown and snap a few photos. And good thing, too. Look how gorgeous these two are.
Jen - Very cool!
Jen - Everyone needs a Karlee in their life!
