The longest winter in my memory finally came to an end today. Spring has sprung – though it didn’t feel much like it as Sarah and I raced across the parking lot and huddled together at the bus stop this morning. I think they are predicting 0 degrees today, but no matter. Along with the slightly chilly temperature comes sun. Glorious, warm, bright, mood-lifting sun. Just what the doctor ordered.
Unfortunately, Environment Canada is saying that we aren’t out of the woods yet. April is supposed to be colder than normal. And I’m actually ok with that. It’s the snow that I’m SO done with. Give me sun and dry roads and I’ll be fine until the days start to warm up a little.
On this, the first day of spring, I sit patiently, swimming in vitamin D, waiting for the first spring day. Did I say patiently?
