We’ve been busy here at forgetful.\u00a0 And most of it it isn’t the fun kind on busy.\u00a0 And it’s mostly house-related.\u00a0 Our house is still on the market.\u00a0 It’s been almost 3 weeks now and though we’ve had a lot of traffic coming through, we have not had an offer.\u00a0 Yet.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Today, in 15 minutes we are having our 4th return showing.\u00a0 It’s the fourth family to come back through and our house is apparently at the top of their list.\u00a0 YAY!\u00a0 If we get an offer today (or soon – I’m not that much of an optimist) we can finally relax.\u00a0 Keeping your house in a showhome state is not easy.\u00a0 And when Jaia follows you around pulling out whatever you’ve just put away, you have to work twice as hard to keep things immaculate.\u00a0 And it’s immaculate.\u00a0 And I’m more than ready to not worry about how immaculate it is for a little while.<\/p>\n
Onto other, more fun things: The Fancy Dress Party.\u00a0 This has been in the works for awhile now, and I’m thrilled that it is finally happening.\u00a0 Ever since I have owned a wedding dress and worn it just over 3 years ago, I’ve been in cahoots with Michelle and others to have a party where we all get to wear our favourite fancy dress (wedding, bridesmaid, prom) and hang out.\u00a0 And now, in just a few weeks, I will be sporting my lovely Augusta Jones for the second time.\u00a0 I even tried it on last night (in sheer excitement) and it still fits!!\u00a0 No small feat, considering I had a baby since that last time I had it on.\u00a0 Excellent.<\/p>\n
I. CANNOT. WAIT.<\/p>\n
The only question that remains…….is…….to veil or not to veil.\u00a0 A very tough call, but I’m leaning towards veil.\u00a0 I mean, if you’re going to wear a wedding dress, you might as well go all the way.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
