It’s expensive to fly within Canada.\u00a0 I’ve priced it out myself, and at certain times of year you can fly to Europe for less than it costs to get you to Manitoba, just one province over.\u00a0 Ridiculous.<\/p>\n

So…..I felt it my civic duty to let you in on a short-lived secret.\u00a0 WestJet is having a seat sale!<\/a>\u00a0 50% off flights within Canada\u00a0that must be booked today and\u00a0need be used on or before\u00a0February 28th (read the fine print).\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"westjet.jpg\"In case anyone hasn’t flown this airline before, I should let you know that it may be your best flight experience ever.\u00a0 There is no guarantee, of course, that all will flow smoothly, but after having flown WestJet to Vegas and back, I’m an airline convert.\u00a0 Our last 6 return flights or so have been on Air Canada and thay have been disasterous.\u00a0 Awful<\/a>.\u00a0 Unbearable.\u00a0 I’d easily give up collecting Aeroplan points (which has been quite rewarding for us in the past) if it meant leaving and arriving on time and actually making connections between cities.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Oh, and the tvs in the back of the seats\u00a0on Westjet flights are genius.\u00a0 Everytime I’m on an Air Canada flight, I end up with the WORST movie selection.\u00a0 The last time I was forced to watch\u00a0Dreamer<\/a>.\u00a0 Thanks, but I’m not 6.\u00a0 And the time before that I would have been able to\u00a0watch The Polar Express had the screens\u00a0been working, but instead\u00a0we had no in-flight entertainment other than the riveting Air Canada magazine that was supposed to keep my mind off the rock hard temporary “seat” that I was assigned.\u00a0 Air Canada bites.\u00a0 Hard.<\/p>\n

So.\u00a0 Go book your WestJet flight now.\u00a0 Do it.\u00a0 Go somewhere.\u00a0 Explore Canada.\u00a0 Tell them I say hello.<\/p>\n
