The Kenny Rogers Greatest Hits album with The Gambler, Lady, Coward of the County, and other great songs that tell a story was a formative album in my teenage years.  And I later discovered more obscure Kenny in the form of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Just_Dropped_In_%28To_See_What_Condition_My_Condition_Was_In%29\">Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In)<\/a> from the <a href=\"http:\/\/imdb.com\/title\/tt0118715\/?fr=c2l0ZT1kZnx0dD0xfGZiPXV8cG49MHxrdz0xfHE9YmlnIGxlYm93c2tpfGZ0PTF8bXg9MjB8bG09NTAwfGNvPTF8aHRtbD0xfG5tPTE_;fc=1;ft=20;fm=1\">Big Lebowski<\/a> soundtrack, which he recorded in 1968 with First Edition.<\/p>\n<p>All of that said, I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;d recognize him now if I passed him on the street.
