She woke up and you could tell she already felt different. \u00a0She seemed different.<\/p>\n

She reminded her little brother that this was her big day at least 4 (or 40) times.<\/p>\n

She took extra care getting dressed and asked specifically for two braids in her hair. \u00a0Everything had to be just right.<\/p>\n

Today my girl graduated from senior kindergarten.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

As I walked into the school library, decorated with balloons and banners, it hit me. \u00a0Life as we know it was about to change. \u00a0But I was ok, until I saw her walk into the room. \u00a0Seeing her in her handmade cap literally made my heart burst open in my chest. \u00a0I felt like I couldn’t breathe for a minute or two.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

But then she looked at me. \u00a0Eyes bright, smile from ear to ear. \u00a0And suddenly, instead of feeling sad, I felt at ease. \u00a0She was thrilled. \u00a0 She walked across the stage and picked up her diploma with confidence, surrounded by all her friends. \u00a0I couldn’t ask for more.<\/p>\n

I am so very proud of my girl. \u00a0 This adventure has been one of my most favourites ever, and I can’t wait to see where else we get to go with her. \u00a0What a ride it will be.<\/p>\n
