{"id":5724,"date":"2012-04-09T21:06:15","date_gmt":"2012-04-10T01:06:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/forgetful.ca\/?p=5724"},"modified":"2012-04-09T21:06:15","modified_gmt":"2012-04-10T01:06:15","slug":"ma-famille","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/forgetful.ca\/?p=5724","title":{"rendered":"Ma famille."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Easter weekend brought family from afar. \u00a0We all congregated at our house where we ate, drank, talked, relaxed and played. \u00a0It was perfect.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/forgetful.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/DSC_6459me.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5725\" title=\"DSC_6459me\" src=\"http:\/\/forgetful.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/DSC_6459me.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"725\" height=\"482\" srcset=\"http:\/\/forgetful.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/DSC_6459me.jpg 725w, http:\/\/forgetful.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/DSC_6459me-300x199.jpg 300w, http:\/\/forgetful.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/DSC_6459me-290x193.jpg 290w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 725px) 100vw, 725px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve said it before and I&#8217;ll say it 3427 more times: \u00a0I love when family is close by. \u00a0I would give anything to have parents and grandparents living down the street and sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles and cousins no more than a short drive away, with everyone getting together for Sunday dinners. \u00a0When family is around, it is always bittersweet because though I soak up every second with them, I know that visits come to an end. \u00a0And they go home. \u00a0And I miss them so much.<\/p>\n<p>My wiser than wise 5 year old said to me today, &#8220;Try to think more about the good stuff than the bad stuff&#8221;. \u00a0Excellent advice. \u00a0I can&#8217;t \u00a0 spend so much time concentrating on the <em>leaving <\/em>when the actual <em>visiting<\/em> is so damn awesome.<\/p>\n<p>To those of you who visit us, who have visited us, who hope to visit us, or who have mentioned visiting us &#8211; please, please, please do. \u00a0You, being here, with us, makes this girl, her kids and her husband so very happy. \u00a0We hope to see your faces soon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Easter weekend brought family from afar. \u00a0We all congregated at our house where we ate, drank, talked, relaxed and played. \u00a0It was perfect.
