To say that the average Christmas is hectic would be an understatement. \u00a0This one, even more so. \u00a0We’ve already had Christmas celebrations with 2 sets of grandparents and are gearing up for 3, 4, and 5 over the next week and a half. \u00a0In between then we have \u00a0a wedding celebration and a sweet little lady’s 5th birthday\u00a0to plan and execute.<\/p>\n

BUSY – but it’s a good busy. \u00a0A happy busy. \u00a0A lovely busy.<\/p>\n

This year is one of those very, very rare occasions that we will see almost ALL of our family within the month of December to celebrate the holidays. \u00a0Being spread all over the continent can sometimes make getting ‘home’ for Christmas a little (a lot) tough. This year though, no grandparent goes un-hugged. \u00a0We will spend time with all of them and it brings on all sorts of happy for all of us.<\/p>\n

The trade-off was that I abandoned the Christmas card idea pretty early on. \u00a0Real life faces are better than pictures any day, right? But I do love sending and receiving cards and am thankful to have received holiday greetings in my mailbox with wishes of a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from some of my most favourite people. \u00a0And I ask that you forgive us for not returning the favour. \u00a0Too much to do to prepare for 5 Christmases, 1 birthday and 1 wedding. \u00a0No time to sit and write cards telling you all how much you are missed and how much we wish only the happiest of holidays to you and yours. \u00a0But the thoughts and wishes are there, even if the mailbox does not show it.<\/p>\n

With that said, happy holidays from the Fullertons. \u00a0We hope to be seein’ you in 2012!<\/p>\n
