Wes, like most little people<\/a> his age, loves Elmo. \u00a0LOVES. \u00a0And Elmo is everywhere these days, so hanging out with us ends up being more of a ‘Where’s Elmo?’ game than anything else.<\/p>\n

Have I told you this before? \u00a0I’ve told at least one of you because when I arrived back at the house from walking the big girl to the bus stop, there was a little package sitting on top of the mailbox.<\/p>\n

It was addressed to me. \u00a0There was a US customs slip that read ‘crocheted hat’. \u00a0The return address read Amy Off the Hook. \u00a0Cute. \u00a0A play on words for an obvious crocheter.<\/p>\n

Inside was little guy:<\/p>\n

Wes’ eyes literally bugged out of his head when he saw Elmo and he preceded to pull the hat on his head. \u00a0He kept it on for a record amount of time and would probably still have it on were it not for the fact that a wool hat is not the best ever sleep wear.<\/p>\n

Now for the weird part. \u00a0I did not order this hat. \u00a0And I have no idea who sent it to us. \u00a0Amy Off the Hook is on etsy.com and lives in Utah. \u00a0She does not know who I am and she certainly doesn’t know about Wes’ current Elmo obsession. \u00a0So, it was one of you.<\/p>\n

If it was you, thank you. \u00a0The hat is lovely and Wes loves it. \u00a0I’d love to be able to thank you personally for the uber sweet gesture though, so please, speak up!<\/p>\n
