Silver.\u00a0 50th? Gold.\u00a0 65th?\u00a0 Nothing.\u00a0 Nope, there&#8217;s nothing listed.\u00a0 It&#8217;s not all that common for people to be married to one another for that long, so on most charts I found, there wasn&#8217;t anything listed for anything over 60.\u00a0 And if there was something listed, it was a repeat of the 60th anniversary gift: diamonds.\u00a0 Not bad.\u00a0 So every five years after you are married\u00a0over 60 you can expect a diamond.\u00a0 Excellent.\u00a0 Well worth the wait I suppose.<\/p>\n<p>65 years is quite the milestone.\u00a0 That&#8217;s 23,740.74 days. 569,777.83 hours.\u00a0 \u00a034,186,669.8 minutes.\u00a0\u00a0 You really, really have to love someone to have enough to talk about after the first 11,000 days.\u00a0 And it seems they did.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>My grandparents really set an example for the rest of us.\u00a0 I&#8217;m in awe of them and how amazing they are.\u00a0 It&#8217;s adorable to see them so in love after all these years (or 23,740 days) and Dan and I aspire to follow in their footsteps.\u00a0 We only have 63 years and one month to go&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today is my grandparents&#8217; 65th wedding anniversary.\u00a0 They were married on April 26th, 1942 in Yorkton, Saskatchewan.\u00a0 It was during the Second World War, and Grandpa was serving in the Air Force.
