{"id":4220,"date":"2011-02-06T09:28:42","date_gmt":"2011-02-06T13:28:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.forgetful.ca\/?p=4220"},"modified":"2011-02-06T09:28:42","modified_gmt":"2011-02-06T13:28:42","slug":"day-269-something-to-smile-about","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/forgetful.ca\/?p=4220","title":{"rendered":"Day 269 &#8211; Something to smile about."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.forgetful.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/DSC_3728sm.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4221\" title=\"DSC_3728sm\" src=\"http:\/\/www.forgetful.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/DSC_3728sm.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"549\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve all been getting a lot more sleep around here lately. \u00a0Wes has taken to (mostly) sleeping through with a few little wake ups here and there. \u00a0We&#8217;re not completely out of the woods yet, but it&#8217;s a drastic improvement. \u00a0And it&#8217;s been lovely. \u00a0Truly. \u00a0And a very long time coming.<\/p>\n<p>The trade off? \u00a0Wesley wakes up before the sun. \u00a0Every single day. \u00a0This morning he was chattering at 4:30 but fell back asleep until 5:00. \u00a0But that was his limit. \u00a0And if I don&#8217;t want Jaia getting up at the same time &#8211; I don&#8217;t &#8211; I had to pluck him out of his crib and start the day MUCH earlier than any human should.<\/p>\n<p>The silver lining? \u00a0He&#8217;s happy. \u00a0He&#8217;s napping like a champ (used to be 20 minute cat naps) and he&#8217;s sleeping from 7 pm to 5. \u00a0 10 peaceful hours. \u00a0Music to my ears. \u00a0Beautiful, sweet music.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve all been getting a lot more sleep around here lately. \u00a0Wes has taken to (mostly) sleeping through with a few little wake ups here and there. \u00a0We&#8217;re not completely out of the woods yet, but it&#8217;s a drastic improvement. \u00a0And it&#8217;s been lovely. \u00a0Truly. \u00a0And a very long time coming.
