{"id":4004,"date":"2010-12-16T10:36:17","date_gmt":"2010-12-16T14:36:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.forgetful.ca\/?p=4004"},"modified":"2010-12-16T10:36:17","modified_gmt":"2010-12-16T14:36:17","slug":"day-218-non-commital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/forgetful.ca\/?p=4004","title":{"rendered":"Day 218 &#8211; Non-commital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In each house we move into, the last thing I tackle is the wall art. \u00a0I wait months to hang all my pictures because I don&#8217;t want to have to move them if I change my mind. \u00a0I&#8217;m very non-commital. \u00a0It&#8217;s a big decision and one I never rush into.<\/p>\n<p>That is unless you KNOW what you want hanging where. \u00a0And when it came to the wall just inside our foyer, I just KNEW. \u00a0There was no better picture to have hanging there.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.forgetful.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/DSC_1423sm.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4005\" title=\"DSC_1423sm\" src=\"http:\/\/www.forgetful.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/DSC_1423sm.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"465\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A close up.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.forgetful.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/DSC_1424sm.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4006\" title=\"DSC_1424sm\" src=\"http:\/\/www.forgetful.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/DSC_1424sm.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"465\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Jaia drew this picture of all of us. \u00a0And wrote all of our names without asking for help. \u00a0She draws one or fie of these almost every single day. \u00a0She adores drawing and I adore watching her skills improve. \u00a0Hair was once just lines drawn beside the character&#8217;s head, now, now it is attached to the character&#8217;s head and varies in length, depending on who she&#8217;s drawing. \u00a0Now girls wear high heels and bows in their hair, babies have only one curl on their heads and men wear pants. \u00a0Watching the details change and improve through her drawings makes it that much more real to me that she&#8217;s growing up. \u00a0How deliciously lovely and heartbreaking all in the same breath.<\/p>\n<p>And now the real problem is where and how to store the piles and piles of artwork. \u00a0Any experienced mamas have any ideas for me?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In each house we move into, the last thing I tackle is the wall art. \u00a0I wait months to hang all my pictures because I don&#8217;t want to have to move them if I change my mind. \u00a0I&#8217;m very non-commital. \u00a0It&#8217;s a big decision and one I never rush into.
