If it hasn’t been obvious by my many Facebook updates (for those of you who use FB) or the post the other day, you might be surprised to find that we’re moving.\u00a0 Again.\u00a0 We sound like we’re insane to want to do this yet again, but in truth, we’re not.\u00a0 We just know what we want, what we like, and most importantly, what we don’t like.\u00a0 We moved to this last house with a goal in mind: update it and make some money.\u00a0 2 years in and we’ve done exactly that.\u00a0 A loooooong and tiring and incredibly poorly timed flip, if you will.<\/p>\n

In each our moves, Dan and I just kept compiling\u00a0 a list of ‘must haves’ in our next house.\u00a0 This time around, our new house meets ALL of the must haves on our list and more, a first for us.\u00a0 So we’re pretty convinced that we’re staying at this address for awhile.\u00a0 So sure, in fact, that I’d be inclined to suggest Lisa D use PEN for me in her address book.\u00a0 PEN.\u00a0 Serious business.<\/p>\n

Our closing date is set.\u00a0 And, as of this evening, our current house has SOLD. \u00a0It’s still conditional on financing and inspection, but I’m optimistic. \u00a0We were on the market for less than a week. \u00a0And have this already happen is making me beam. \u00a0Living in a show home is nearly impossible with two littles. \u00a0We only had to live it for a couple of days and it was painful. \u00a0I’m so glad it’s over.<\/p>\n

I want to take a minute to thank two people who helped make this possible. \u00a0Dan’s dad and stepmom flew into town and got to work the second they arrived. \u00a0They cleaned, cooked, painted, babysat, tinkered, replaced, repaired, organized, packed, built and, most importantly, kept us calm as the deadline approached. \u00a0Grandpa Doug and Grandma Dianna, we could not have done this without you. \u00a0We are so thankful for every single thing you did \u00a0for us, including having faith in us that we could get it all done. \u00a0You are both amazing. \u00a0The little kids (and the big kids) miss you already.<\/p>\n
