Today marks a fun milestone for the Fullertons.\u00a0 It’s been exactly 5 years since we first laid eyes on each other.\u00a0 And though Dan tells me that there are only a certain number of anniversaries that we are allowed to celebrate, I’m vying for this one to stay\u00a0close to the top of the list.<\/p>\n

The weather, not unlike today, was rainy with a slight chill in the air.\u00a0 I remember exactly what Dan was wearing –\u00a0not in a crazy, obsessed way, but in a ‘still adore when he wears that sweater’ way.\u00a0\u00a0On the other hand, what I wore\u00a0that night escapes me completely.\u00a0 It’s so weird to think that as you are primping to go out\u00a0on any given evening, carefully choosing\u00a0your outfit\u00a0and what you might do with your hair, that it might turn out to be one of the most memorable and important nights of your life.<\/p>\n

And that’s what this was for me.\u00a0 It marked a\u00a0turning point.\u00a0 Little did\u00a0I know that, as we sat at Pancho Villa and sipped on our Dos Equis,\u00a0I was casually chatting with my future husband.\u00a0 It was the start of the most important and quite possibly the happiest times of my life.\u00a0 I don’t ever feel shy about admitting how very lucky I am.<\/p>\n
