Friday again. \u00a0I don’t know how it happened, but this week just FLEW by. \u00a0Not that I’m complaining.<\/p>\n

Let’s get to it.<\/p>\n

1. DADDY-JAIA DAYS<\/strong> – \u00a0With work and renos taking up the majority of Dan’s time over the last few months, he has had very little time to spend with just Jaia. \u00a0Short grocery trips or errands to run don’t count. \u00a0They barely get quality time together, without me tagging along. \u00a0But this Friday sees them having the whole day to themselves, sans Mama. \u00a0I am on course all day and they will have all day to catch up. \u00a0They are going to have a blast. \u00a0And yes, I’m jealous.<\/p>\n

2. \u00a0PAID PHOTOGRAPHY<\/strong> – I’ve been bursting at the seams with this one. \u00a0I took some headshots for a friend’s workplace and her boss liked them so much he hired me to shoot the rest of the staff and to take some promotional shots to be featured in their window! \u00a0I’m over the moon. \u00a0Seriously. \u00a0 (Huge thanks to Sarah for setting up the meeting and for singing my praises. \u00a0You are quite the cheerleader, my friend!)<\/p>\n

3. \u00a0WEEKEND SURPRISES<\/strong> – Somehow, some way, I was able to orchestrate a MAJOR surprise for Dan’s birthday weekend. \u00a0And better yet, I was able to keep it to myself and \u00a0not spill the beans about it until the right moment. \u00a0And the right moment rocked this afternoon when I walked in the house, followed closely by Crispy, one of Dan’s best friends and the best man at our wedding. \u00a0Dan’s face was priceless. \u00a0I thought for sure he had an inkling, but apparently not. \u00a0I love a good surprise. \u00a0Especially when I’m the one doing the surprising…<\/p>\n

4. \u00a0KIDS IN BIG SUNGLASSES<\/strong> – Jaia insisted on wearing my sunglasses the other day as we ventured out. \u00a0She has her own super adorable ones that actually fit her, but mine were more appealing for whatever reason.<\/p>\n

5. \u00a0BABY KICKS<\/strong> – There are some things about pregnancy that I could do without – especially at this point in the pregnancy. \u00a0 But no matter what, I will never, ever tire of baby kicks. In the ribs, in the bladder, anywhere. \u00a0I’m loving every single one of them. \u00a0Keep it up, Baby Frank.<\/p>\n
