{"id":2447,"date":"2010-03-24T07:53:35","date_gmt":"2010-03-24T11:53:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.forgetful.ca\/?p=2447"},"modified":"2010-03-24T07:53:35","modified_gmt":"2010-03-24T11:53:35","slug":"bakerella","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/forgetful.ca\/?p=2447","title":{"rendered":"Bakerella"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>No, not Jaia or I. \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bakerella.com\/\">The website<\/a>. \u00a0I came upon it the other day and have been salivating ever since.<\/p>\n<p>It was also the source of the recipe that Jaia and I attempted on Friday (mentioned in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.forgetful.ca\/?p=2415\">Friday Goodness<\/a>). \u00a0They are called cake pops and they were delish! \u00a0Sweet to the point of &#8216;eat only one or you&#8217;ll regret it&#8217;, but delish if you have self-control. \u00a0My sister, her husband and I apparently do not have self-control and regretted it for a few hours afterwards, but it didn&#8217;t stop me from having another the following day. \u00a0And maybe even the day after that.<\/p>\n<p>They were fairly easy to make and would be a hit at any party that you are asked to bring dessert to. \u00a0And they are (or can be) to-die-for cute:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.forgetful.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/3397505228_d4c28c4c1d_o.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2448\" title=\"3397505228_d4c28c4c1d_o\" src=\"http:\/\/www.forgetful.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/3397505228_d4c28c4c1d_o.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"750\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.forgetful.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/3806069939_3c4c926605_o.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2449\" title=\"3806069939_3c4c926605_o\" src=\"http:\/\/www.forgetful.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/3806069939_3c4c926605_o.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"750\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I am confident enough in myself to admit that mine turned out nothing like these. \u00a0They were plain pink (Jaia&#8217;s choice &#8211; obviously) with purple cake inside (Jaia&#8217;s choice &#8211; obviously). \u00a0But as plain as they were, they were still pretty cute.<\/p>\n<p>I want to and will make them again, I just need a reason and someplace to take them. \u00a0One cake mix makes about 40-50 of these little gems and I refuse to have that many at my disposal ever again. \u00a0Dangerous.<\/p>\n<p>And here&#8217;s my little Bakerella in action:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.forgetful.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/DSC_4529sm.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2451\" title=\"DSC_4529sm\" src=\"http:\/\/www.forgetful.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/DSC_4529sm.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"498\" height=\"750\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>No, not Jaia or I. \u00a0The website. \u00a0I came upon it the other day and have been salivating ever since.
