I couldn&#8217;t be more excited."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.forgetful.ca\/uploaded_images\/Canada_Flag-771007.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"left\" src=\"http:\/\/www.forgetful.ca\/uploaded_images\/Canada_Flag-752696.jpg\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThose who know me well know that I love the Olympics.  Especially the winter Olympics.  No matter the event, I find myself perched in front of the television for what ends up to be hours on end. I&#8217;m not even sure I can narrow down my favourite event, so I watch them all &#8211; even figure skating, which I would not tolerate otherwise.<\/p>\n<p>So the countdown is on.  Five more sleeps until the opening ceremony.  Five more sleeps until it all begins.  I&#8217;ve been waiting four long years, and it&#8217;s finally here.  My only beef is the time difference.  I understand that we have to share the games with countries in other time zones, but my sleep schedule<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.forgetful.ca\/uploaded_images\/feb15_sskate-768586.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"left\" src=\"http:\/\/www.forgetful.ca\/uploaded_images\/feb15_sskate-754123.jpg\" \/><\/a>always takes a serious beating.  Thankfully, we can keep track of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/olympics\/\">as-they-happen standings <\/a> and take part in the re-broadcasts of major events at more reasonable times.  CBC.ca can also help you find out everything you ever wanted to know about any <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/olympics\/athletes\/athletesbyname.shtml\">Canadian athelete<\/a> competing this time around.<\/p>\n<p>So&#8230;if you are looking for me between February 10th and 26th, you&#8217;ll know exactly where to find me.
