This year, Shannen’s mom pointed out that this is the 3rd year in a row that I will be sharing Christmas Eve with the King-Murphys, and all of the King-Murphy traditions that go along with it. She asked whether there were some Fullerton-Sweet traditions that we could observe this year as a change.<\/p>\n

\nChristmas Eve for me was spent at Grandma Fullerton’s house in Dinsmore<\/a>, Boney M on the stereo, Grandma would make a big ukrainian feast of cabbage rolls and perogies, there would be a bit of carol singing, opening presents, all capped off with a wrapping paper fight at the end!<\/p>\n

So this year, I’ll be making cabbage rolls (rice & onion, no meat) for the 3rd time in my life, and perogies (potato and onion) for the first! I’ll report back on results.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
