As I was surfing the MANY photo blogs that I’m currently addicted to, I kept coming across people’s 365s.\u00a0 Make that Project 365.\u00a0 My most favourite is this one<\/a>.\u00a0 The idea is that you take a picture a day for a full year to ‘document’ that year rather than have it fly by unnoticed. Photojojo gives an excellent synopsis<\/a>…<\/p>\n

Anyone who has read this blog for the past two years know that I tried this before.\u00a0 I tried to take a photo per day for Jaia’s first year.\u00a0 It was not easy.\u00a0 Not every day is photo worthy.\u00a0 But I tried my best for being a new mother, an exhausted new mother.\u00a0 I missed a lot of days, but I have no regrets about the time I spent in front of the computer updating forgetful.ca. I often look back at those photos from Jaia’s early days.\u00a0 They make me smile.<\/p>\n

So I’m going to try again.\u00a0 As part of my resolutions, I want to take more photos AND spend more quality time on the computer rather than wasting hours with nothing accomplished.\u00a0 My Project 365 solves that.\u00a0 And I get to walk away with a memoir of that year…without all the failed attempts to scrapbook or journal the memories.\u00a0 Turns out I’m a memory blogger, so why fight it?<\/p>\n

While I can’t promise a photo every single day, I’m going to try my hardest. I have a feeling that 2009 will be worth remembering.<\/p>\n
