Last Friday was awesome.\u00a0 My awesome sister-in-law was here and my awesome friend (and neighbour for only a few more weeks \ud83d\ude41\u00a0 ) agreed to join us for Michelle’s awesome Fancy Dress Party.\u00a0 We got all dolled up Chez Fullerton and waited for the only newly wed, Mrs. Sonja Woodington to arrive.<\/p>\n

Taking photos on the street was awesome.\u00a0 Rarely has anyone seen more than one bride in their dresses at the same time, outside, on a Friday night – and we had three.\u00a0 And one gorgeous bridesmaid.\u00a0 Surpringly, we only got one honk as we did our photoshoot on the lawn.<\/p>\n

The party was…awesome.\u00a0 So many brides, very little red wine.\u00a0 Most opted for beverages of the colourless variety, though I’m happy to report that there was no spillage but for a slice of the most delicious chocolate cake.\u00a0 What a waste.<\/p>\n

The oldest dresses were 9 years old.\u00a0 Three of the girls, including hostess with the mostess (and birthday girl), Michelle, were tied for longest married.\u00a0 Sonja and Heather were the newbies at under a year.\u00a0 There was even a guest, getting married this month, who wore the first dress she bought that she decided not to wear.\u00a0 Honourable mentions go to the bridesmaids, they too looked fabulous and were likely miles more comfortable than I was.\u00a0 Wedding dresses, though beautiful (mostly), are not comfortable.\u00a0 At all.<\/p>\n
